My name is Lorraine and I run The Movie Shack. We are located in the Broadway Shopping Centre in Bexleyheath. I was wondering if it would be possible to share our after school activities with the families of your schools. With the cost of living and post covid, we as parents ourselves know how hard life is at the moment. We have a board game café area at the back of our shop and we have set up and run after school activities, most of which are free. I have attached a copy of our leaflet showing all the sessions available, which continue through Summer holidays and half term as well. We are also a part of Children's University! All our staff are DBS checked and have previously worked with children including a current TA, and Girl guiding leaders. Everyone is welcome and we want to create a safe, fun, equal environment for all, aswell as having allocated sessions for SEN and home learning. The Autism Society are also regular visitors, booking the space once a month for 30 people at a time. Art Club for kids and Portrait Sessions for for all ages and abilities is run by an Arts Tutor for Centrepieces Mental Health Arts Charity. Our Board Game Café is a great way to meet others that enjoy the same interests and even learn a few more. We are also open to new ideas and suggestions or schools visiting. We have over 100 board games for ages 5-99 years. Also keep an eye out for our Fundays once a month and competitions.
